Jean-Luc Archambault

President, age 59, is holder of an aggregation in mathematics from École Normale Supérieure (Ulm) and completed his graduate work at Télécom ParisTech. A Corps des Mines engineer, he was responsible for industrial and environmental policies at the General Secretariat for European Affairs, and was later in charge of the telecommunications sector for the Ministry of Industry. He is a former advisor to several industry ministers, and later joined the private sector as Associate Director of BNP Private Equity followed by Director of External Relations for SFR. Jean-Luc founded Lysios in 2003. In addition to managing the team, he also offers clients his senior management experience, knowledge of competition-related issues, and his experience in digital technology and industry.

Grégoire Schöller

age 38, graduated in law and philosophy from the University of Louvain, the London School of Economics and the HEC business school. Former diplomatic advisor to Vice-President of the European Commission for Internal Market and Services Michel Barnier, he has also worked in English corporate law firms. He is a managing partner of Priam Partners (M&As and Investment Advisory Firm operating in Europe and Africa). Grégoire has been involved with Lysios as a Senior Advisor since 2016 in the areas of European policies and programmes, internal market and finance.

Marie-Myrtille Marichal

age 37, holds a Master's degree in European Politics from IEP Aix-en-Provence and a degree from the College of Europe (Natolin). She worked for Vivendi’s legal department and later joined a law firm in Madrid, dealing mostly with European Competition Law cases. Marie-Myrtille joined Lysios in 2010. She uses her experience in telecommunication and European policies and programmes to meet client’s needs.

partner, age 38, a graduate in media management (ESCP Europe) and a former journalist. After several entrepreneurial experiences in Africa and with the media, he founded the 35°Nord agency in 2012 to offer his clients an upgrade in quality in terms of their press relations and an improvement to their editorial footprint, with the conviction that Africa’s emergence must be embodied by economic successes, improved business visibility by new leadership and an innovative involvement when it comes to relationships between the media and economic operators. Romain boasts a combination of both sectoral (media) and geographical (African continent) skills.

Philippe Perdrix

partner, age 48, has a degree in law and journalism. After several African experiences in the media (creating a radio station in Burundi, presenting at Radio France Internationale and assistant editor at Jeune Afrique), he became convinced that the inseparable destiny of Africa, France and Europe requires the development of a new narrative driven by a generation of African and European decision-makers with access to the leading media. Co-founder of 35°Nord, Philippe provides his clients with solid expertise in African political and economic contexts by coming alongside them as they develop and spread their advocacy, as well as during operational follow-up with their stakeholders.

Nicolas Teisserenc

age 35, specialises in the banking and finance, natural resources and consumer goods sectors in Africa. A graduate of EM Lyon, he began his career as a journalist for Capital Finance (Les Échos) before becoming editor-in-chief of African Banker and African Business (IC Publications). He then joined the Jeune Afrique group as Chief Editor of the economic and financial information website. Nicolas joined the agency in 2014 and manages several large accounts. An expert in press relations, he also has solid expertise in the realm of African affairs.

Léonard Lifar

age 26, joined the agency in 2017 as an advisor to institutional and corporate clients operating in the mining, agriculture and investment capital sectors. A graduate of Paris Dauphine University (Master 212) and Sciences Po Rennes, he has collaborated in several think-tanks specialised in geopolitics and defence-security over the course of his studies. He joined the Business France office in South Africa in 2015 before coming on board with the GPLUS Europe public affairs consultancy. He is also a member of Open Diplomacy’s Sub-Saharan Africa and Middle East programmes.
